In association with “University of Mumbai” we successfully hosted Marketing Conclave – 2020 on 18 th Jan, 2020, on the theme “Retailing to E- tailing”. The distinguish expertise from Retail and Digital Marketing fraternity came to share, widen and upgrade the students’ knowledge on this front.
The expert panel included Mr. Deepak Dubey - Executive Vice President - Charmboard (A Zee Group Venture), Mr. Nirmal Shah - Assistant Vice President - Sonyliv.com (Sony Pictures Networks India), Mr. Ravi Jha - Associate Vice President - Paytm Payments Bank and Mr. Tanmay Mishra - Regional Marketing Head - Philips India Limited. 202 students & faculty members from 9 Management Institutes and Degree Colleges across Mumbai had participated in the event.
The session started with the welcoming of guests and the audience, followed by an addressal of Dr. Hiresh Luhar, Director of VIVA IMR. The moderator of the session, Mr. Deepak Dubey emphasised on digital marketing as the need of the time and will explain new business opportunities necessary to survive in the industry. All the eminent panellist agreed on one point that growth of e- tailing does not mean end of retailing. Both Retailing and e-tailing are complementary to each other and is healthy for marketing environment.
