In association with “University of Mumbai” we successfully hosted our second Inter collegiate Case Study competition – “Vichar Manthan” on 1st February, 2019. Main objective of the case study competition was to provide exposure to students to real-life situations and to enhance their Analytical & Presentation skills. The session started with welcoming of Guests and the audience followed by the address of Mr. S.N. Padhye, Member of VIVA Trust. Students from various Management Institutes (General Management Category) and Degree Colleges (Finance, Marketing and HR Domain) across Mumbai had participated in the event.
The eminent judges for the evaluation were - Mr. Milind Gowardhan (Ex-Director & President- Khush Housing Finance), Mr. Kishore Pradhan (CEO – Global Trade Consultancy Services), Mr. Deepak Dubey (Chief Digital Officer – CNBC TV18) along with many other distinguished Principals from different colleges.
All the winners for the Case study competition got cash prize, trophy as well as a certificate. The guests and evaluators for the day appreciated this event a lot and by the end of the day shared valuable experiences with students. The event ended with an interaction between the students and the panelists and the whole event resulted out into a great platform where students were encouraged to think deeply to come out with lateral solutions to real-life issues. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks.
An Intercollegiate case study called “Vichar Manthan” an event on Saturday 10th Feb 2018 was organized in which all Management Institution across Mumbai participated. More than 15 Management institute and Degree Colleges has participated and over 150+ students visited the campus for participating in the event.
The case study competition was basically for all the students such as Undergraduate (UG) as well as Post graduate (PG) mainly in three domains such as Finance, Marketing and Human Resource specialization. For evaluation the judges from corporates were invited having more than over decade of experience such as Mr. Pavit Chadha, Associates Director, Julius Baer Wealth Advisors (India) Private Limited, Alok Shashank Oak, HR Head, Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd, Mr. Swarup Das, GM-HR, Kaya Ltd., Mr. Pankaj Jagtap, Sr. Manager HR, Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd., Mr. Sonu Agarwal, AVP & Branch Head, JM Financial Services Ltd., Mr. Amit Patil, DGM Marketing, Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemical Ltd., and many more for evaluations.
